Progress: make SS aware of how much/how little they've learnt. Try to make them see which areas are giving them a hard time.
Time management: teach predicting the time a certain activity will take. Teach SS to set time markers.

- Introducing the English tongue,
compared to others, located geographically.
- Spanish cognates are less
threatening than other English words.
Parents
- Contact them through
traditional mail, see who's on Facebook.
Management
Surveys: a short one with questions to
complete in class and a more extensive one to take home and complete with
parents.
Student names: photo with a sign, sticky
notes behind chairs, name tags that will be used to call up their names.
Mistakes: Fail again, fail better. Praise effort, not intelligence.
Don't compare yourselves to anybody else.
Foldable Book: SS make a foldable book out
of a piece of paper and then write what Benjamin Zander describes in the video.
